The Cover to Cover Bible Journal is getting a little makeover! ✨ I’ve updated the cover design, and while I only have the Photoshop mockup right now, the real thing will be here soon. It’s simple, beautiful, and created to make your time reading the Bible feel like a breath of fresh air in your hands.
But here’s the part that makes me smile most: this update isn’t just for new friends joining us. It’s for you—the ones who have already been walking through this journal faithfully. Maybe you’re getting close to finishing your current one, with pages full of notes, prayers, and underlined verses that tell the story of your time with God. Maybe you’ve already thought, “What comes next?”
The answer is simple: begin again.
Reading The Bible AGAIN
The Bible is not a “one and done” book. It was never meant to be read through once, checked off a list, and left on a shelf. It’s living and active (Hebrews 4:12), which means every time we open its pages—even to stories we’ve known since childhood—the Spirit has something new to whisper.
The words may be the same, but we are not the same. We’ve walked through new seasons, carried new burdens and celebrated new joys. And all of those shape the way we see and hear God’s Word.
Think about it—how many times have the Psalms met you in a completely different way depending on what your heart was carrying? A Psalm of lament may feel heavy one year, but the next time you are reading the Bible, it feels like comfort. Or how a familiar parable in the Gospels—like the prodigal son or the Good Shepherd—can suddenly feel alive with deeper meaning because of what you’ve walked through recently.
That’s the beauty of Scripture. It doesn’t grow old. It grows with us. Rereading isn’t repetitive—it’s renewing. It’s like sitting down with an old friend. Their stories may already feel familiar, but hearing them again brings out new details. Suddenly there’s a moment that makes you laugh—something you hadn’t noticed before. Other times the weight of their words settles in differently than it did when you were younger. The relationship deepens with time.
And so it is with God’s Word. Every return to its pages is another opportunity for Him to meet you exactly where you are now. Not where you were the last time you read it.
So if you’re nearing the end of your journal, consider this cover update as a little nudge. Maybe it’s time to start again. To let God meet you in both the familiar and the unexpected. To see what He wants to highlight this time around as you’re reading the Bible.
I can’t wait to show you the new journal in real photos once it arrives—until then, here’s a peek at the mockup. My hope is that it feels like an invitation, not just to pick up a fresh book, but to step into a fresh season with Him.
