After being in church all my life, listening to every sermon and memorizing all the hymns, I realized that I had never read the Bible as a whole.
It came down to not making it a habit, or essential part of my day. I had to change my mindset from it being something I was "supposed" to do, and becoming something I enjoyed doing.
Once that clicked into a "get to" over a "have to," God started moving drastically in my life and in my family. As you know already, whatever we consume is what comes out, and consuming God's Word makes it flow into my everyday.

Somewhere along the way, we got in this "do your homework" mindset when doing a Bible study with friends. If it wasn't read for the day, you felt you couldn't contribute to the conversation.
In all truth, this cannot be a task to check off, but a life changing, life giving habit that you cannot live without on a daily (or almost daily) basis.
Debating about verses and scripture divides the body of Christ in a way like no other. There are plenty of spaces where you can go and ask specifics on scripture. Those are conversations for you in a church family.
Whether this is your first time opening a Bible, or maybe the first time you are reading the Bible all the way though, this community exists to make the Bible applicable to everyday life.
Knowing the basics of God and learning more about Him through creating the routine of seeking Him as often as possible.
Hi there! I’m Amanda Stores. I am a stay at home mama that chose to not put a timeline on reading the Bible, but instead chose to read at my own pace to complete the goal.
When I started reading the Bible cover to cover in 2018, I fully intended on reading it in one year. Instead, I missed days and would miss a month or two here and there for various reasons (hello motherhood). So, instead on focusing on the timeline, I focused on consistency and it completely changed how I read the Bible.
I finished reading it from cover to cover and am now on my third time around reading it in that way.
Every Christian membership I have seen has focused on reading bits and pieces of the Bible, and my goal is to make it a "whole Bible" membership.
